Messy Rainbow Spagetti

My boys love to get messy.  I found this wonderful idea on the Imagination Tree website.  I simply cooked up some spaghetti (doesn't mater if it's undercooked a bit).  After draining it I added a bit of oil and food colouring.  Only a few drops worked well.  We had a great time playing although cleaning up the yard wasn't so fun for mommy but it was worth it.

We even added some toys to the mix

Check out the Imagination Tree for more fun ideas for kids.  My blog also has more activities listed under games and cfats

  2. I love this idea! It looks like the boys had such a great time! I'd do it with my boys but we're in an apartment, which means we don't have a lot of room for messy play outside. :( I'll keep it in mind for the day I get a place with a bit more room.

  3. Amber you could always go wild in the bath tub. We've done some messy painting with coloured baby cereal in the bathroom and kitchen since I can wash those floors easily.

  4. My three-year-old, who is my mess-lover, would go nuts with this. Looks like yours had fun! Three and one are such great ages . . . mine older ones are also 2 years apart, and that was right around the time they started really getting along and playing well together. Now, they are the best of buddies.
Thanks for stopping by my blog. Looking forward to reading/sharing more and seeing you around the blog world :-)
